This is a really special version of a classic hobo style bag. It’s constructed with vintage Japanese Shima Aizome fabric - the “Shima” refers to the unique striping pattern and “Aizome” refers to the traditional, intensive hand-dying process used to create the gorgeous uniquely Japanese indigo blue color. The bottom is reinforced with a gorgeous, rich saddle veg-tanned leather that has been extensively hand-processed to give it a lived-in look and feel that usually comes from loving a leather piece for a long time and pairs beautifully with the vintage fabric. A snap patch pocket on back is made with the same leather and keeps essentials close at hand. Our signature cross detail is hand-embroidered in the corner. The hobo shoulder strap is made from hand-cut + finished belting leather and will soften and patina with wear. A hidden magnet at top keeps everything safely inside the bag. The inside is lined with natural linen and has two additional pockets for keeping organized. And to top it all off, a slim handmade wood, ceramic and brass bead tassel adds just the perfect detail. This is truly a one-of-a-kind bag in a classic style that will always be a perfect staple.
